Director of SBA Valuation Services
Valerie joined GCF in 2010 as an industry veteran, having served the SBA lending community since 2003. She leverages her tenure and expertise to run the client services team efficiently and effectively as they support clients from project inception through completion. This includes everything from assigning the analysts for each engagement, collecting documentation, providing checklists and ensuring we are adhering to everything the SBA mandates from an SOP perspective. While overseeing the progress for each engagement, she communicates with clients every step of the way until delivery of the final business valuation. Valerie was instrumental in developing the GCF project tracking system, which plays a key part in driving our outstanding client satisfaction.
Prior to joining GCF, Valerie worked as Membership and Education Coordinator for NAGGL (the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders), where her role included everything from general office duties, accounting, and Government Relations. She served as the face for all nationwide members, helping them educate their SBA lending teams and receive important legislative and technical information. She has grown up in the industry and has built strong relationships over the years, many of which have developed into friendships.
Valerie has her Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University. She was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma and moved to Tampa to work for GCF. While in Tampa she met her husband. They have 2 kids – Wyatt and Emmy – and enjoy staying active on the water and outdoors.
